We have started up the production beginning of March 2016 and started to ship Safelets to our customers worldwide including USA, Europe and Australia. The orders will be delivered within of 5 to 10 working days, depending on the region. so please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions regarding shipping.
We currently accept payments via PayPal, major credit cards, and iDeal.
At the moment, we are still in the “pre-order phase”, which means that if you order your Safelet today, you will receive it around March. After the initial pre-order rush, the delivery times will be as follows:
- Europe : approx. 3 days
- USA and Canada : approx. 5 days
- Rest of the world : approx. 7 days
Safelet works by allowing a person who is in danger to quickly send an alert from their Safelet bracelet. Since the bracelet is synced with the wearer’s phone, the Safelet app sends the alert over the cellular network to the bracelet wearer’s pre-selected Guardians – the friends and family who have agreed to help in an emergency. The Safelet wearer also has the option to accept help from a wider Guardian Network, which consists of people who have opted to be alerted whenever someone nearby has activated their Safelet bracelet.
The alert is transmitted by a Bluetooth Low Energy connection to the wearer’s phone. This means that the phone must be within 10 meters of the bracelet to communicate.
When setting up your Safelet bracelet, you will be prompted by the app to enter an emergency number. If you are in the United States, we recommend that you input 911 as the emergency number. Guardians can call this number with one click in the Safelet app when you have activated an alert. So valuable time is saved.
The Safelet bracelet will be fine in the rain, but not in the shower!
When the Safelet bracelet is activated, the Guardians will receive that alert via an on-screen notification. Since there is always the possibility that one of your Guardians won’t be near his phone at the time, Safelet addresses this issue by sending the alert to several contacts. This way, there is a much better chance that one of your Guardians will respond to the alert and/or contact others for assistance. Safelet continues to alert all Guardians until they respond.
Yes, after Safelet is activated, you have 30 seconds to cancel the alert via the App.
Yes, you can add or delete Guardians whenever you want via the Safelet app.
As long as you are connected to the internet, either via cellular services or Wi-Fi, then Safelet should work. Make sure that you update the number of the local police via the Safelet app.
The Safelet App is currently available in English. We are working on different language versions to accommodate our international users.
Other than the costs of purchasing a Safelet, there are no other charges to use the wearable or app.
If you order your Safelet directly from our website and you change your mind, you can cancel your order. Simply visit www.safelet.com to initiate the cancelation process. If you cancel immediately, we will then process your refund within 3 working days. However, if the item has already been dispatched, please wait for your item to be delivered and then follow the Returns Policy as outlined below.
If you change your mind within the first 28 days, you can return the item for a full refund providing there is no damage to the product or packaging.
To return your Safelet, please ensure that the product is carefully packaged and well-protected. Please include a note with the reason for the return, as well as the relevant order information (email associated with the order, order transaction ID). Please be advised that the cost of return shipping is at the purchaser’s expense and is non-refundable.

Only products that have been purchased directly from Safelet, either through www. safelet.com or through the Safelet Indiegogo campaign, can be returned to Safelet.com at the address shown above. Safelet products purchased through other third-party retailers must be returned in accordance with their respective returns and refunds policy.
Safelet offers a one (1) year warranty. This means that should your Safelet fail due to a manufacturing issue within this period of time, you are entitled to return it to us. If you bought the item directly from us, please follow the returns procedure as detailed above. If you bought it from a retailer/third-party source, please contact them directly.
